Electromagnetic flowmeter advantages

Electromagnetic flowmeter is a commonly used flow measurement instrument, with the following characteristics:
1. High measurement accuracy: The measurement accuracy of the electromagnetic flowmeter is usually up to ±0.5%, which can accurately measure the flow of the fluid, and maintain high accuracy in different flow ranges.
Wide measuring range: its measuring range can reach 100:1 or even wider than the general, can adapt to the measurement needs of different flow sizes, whether it is small flow or large flow, can be reliably measured.

2. Low requirements on fluid characteristics: can measure a variety of conductive liquids, including acids, alkalis, salt solutions and grout containing solid particles, almost unaffected by changes in fluid temperature, pressure, density, viscosity and other physical parameters.

3. No pressure loss: The measuring tube of the electromagnetic flowmeter has no components that hinder the flow of fluid, and the fluid can pass smoothly, so there is no pressure loss during the measurement process, which is particularly important for some systems with high pressure requirements.

4. Fast response speed: It can quickly respond to changes in flow, measure and output flow signals in real time, and can be used for dynamic flow measurement and control.

5. High reliability: no moving parts, not easy to wear and damage, with high reliability and stability, long service life, small maintenance workload.

6. Two-way measurement: can measure forward and reverse flow, suitable for the need to monitor two-way flow, such as the fluid in the pipeline may appear countercurrent situation.

7. Various lining materials: According to different fluid properties and use environment, different lining materials can be selected, such as polytetrafluoroethylene, neoprene, etc., to improve the corrosion resistance and wear resistance of the flow meter.

8. Rich output signals: it usually has a variety of output signal forms, such as 4-20mA current signals, pulse signals, digital signals, etc., which is easy to connect with various automatic control systems to achieve remote monitoring and data processing of traffic.

9. Strict installation requirements: the installation requires a certain length of straight pipe section before and after the installation, generally 5-10 times the upstream pipe diameter, 3-5 times the downstream pipe diameter, to ensure that the fluid flow in the measurement tube is stable, reduce the impact on the measurement accuracy. At the same time, the flow meter should be installed in a position to avoid strong magnetic field interference.

10. The fluid conductivity requirements: the measured body must have a certain conductivity, the general requirements of the conductivity is greater than 5μS/cm, for the conductivity of too low fluid, such as pure water, the need for special treatment or other types of flow meters for measurement.
