Ultrasonic Flow Meters

20+ Years Manufacturing Experience

In what harsh environments can radar flow meters be used? How are their waterproof and corrosion-resistant performances?

Thanks to the advantage of non-contact measurement, radar flow meters are suitable for various harsh environments: they can be used in rivers with sediment and suspended solids, industrial wastewater discharge outlets, and can also operate stably for a long time in outdoor environments such as high temperature (some models can withstand -40℃ to 80℃), severe cold, heavy rain, and strong sunlight. Their core component (radar probe) usually adopts an IP67 or IP68 waterproof design, and the shell is mostly made of aluminum alloy or engineering plastic with strong weather resistance, which has good corrosion resistance and anti-aging properties. It can resist the erosion of corrosive media such as acid rain and industrial waste gas, without worrying about damage caused by direct contact with fluids.
