Installation shall be carried out by qualified technical personnel.
Ensure that the pipe is completely filled with liquid during measurement. Ultrasonic flowmeters are not suitable for partially filled pipes.
Select a straight pipe section with sufficient upstream and downstream straight lengths to ensure measurement accuracy. Normally, it asks 10U/5D.
Avoid installation at locations with strong vibration, electromagnetic interference, or unstable flow conditions.

Ensure good acoustic coupling between the transducers and the pipe surface. Apply coupling agent evenly and firmly fix the transducers.
For clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeters, confirm that the pipe material, outer diameter, wall thickness, and lining parameters are correctly set in the transmitter.
Avoid installing the flowmeter near valves, pumps, elbows, or reducers unless sufficient straight pipe length is available.
For high-temperature or corrosive applications, ensure the selected transducers are suitable for the process conditions.
After installation, verify the signal strength and measurement stability, and perform zero check or calibration if necessary.
