Non-invasive measurement: The sensor is installed on the outer wall of the pipeline, without cutting the pipeline, interrupting the fluid flow or polluting the pipeline medium, to achieve non-destructive installation, especially for occasions where water and gas are not allowed to stop, or it is not easy to transform the pipeline, such as the pipeline system that has been put into operation or the pipeline with special requirements.
Simple and quick installation: The installation process is relatively simple, does not require complex pipeline connection and sealing measures, just clamp the sensor on the pipeline in the prescribed way, and apply an appropriate amount of coupling agent to ensure good signal transmission, greatly shortening the installation time and cost, and easy to operate on-site personnel.
A wide range of pipeline adaptability: can be applied to various materials of the pipeline, such as metal pipes (stainless steel, carbon steel, cast iron, etc.), plastic pipes (PVC, HDPE, etc.) and FRP pipes; At the same time, it can measure different pipe diameters, pipe diameters generally range from DN15mm to DN6000mm, and some can even reach larger pipe diameters, which can meet the needs of pipeline flow measurement in a variety of industrial and civil fields.
Measurement performance
High precision measurement: Using high-precision ultrasonic sensing technology, the flow rate and flow rate of the fluid can be accurately measured by accurately measuring the time difference or Doppler frequency shift of the ultrasonic wave in the fluid, the measurement accuracy is usually between ±1.0% and ±0.5% reading, and the repeatability can reach about ±0.2%. Wide measuring range: can measure a variety of fluids, including water, sewage, sea water, oil, gas, steam, etc., and can adapt to a wide flow rate range, generally 0~±32m/s bidirectional flow, can meet the flow measurement needs under different working conditions.
Small influence by fluid characteristics: It has a certain adaptability to changes in fluid temperature, pressure, viscosity and other characteristics, and changes in fluid parameters within a certain range will not have a significant impact on the measurement results. However, when the fluid contains a large number of impurities such as bubbles and solid particles, it may affect the propagation of the ultrasonic signal, thereby reducing the measurement accuracy, but through appropriate signal processing and compensation technology, it can still ensure a certain measurement accuracy.
Operation, maintenance and cost
Low maintenance costs: Because there are no moving parts, no mechanical wear problems, and the sensor is usually made of corrosion-resistant materials, long service life, so less maintenance work, low maintenance costs, just periodically check the sensor installation position and coupling status, and simple cleaning and calibration can be done.
Low power consumption and low cost: the noise generated during operation is low, the power consumption is small, and the overall cost is relatively low, including equipment procurement costs, installation costs and operation and maintenance costs, etc., with a high cost performance, suitable for large-scale promotion and application.
