What liquid is the transit-time ultrasonic flowmeter suitable for measuring ?

Transit-Time ultrasonic flowmeter calculates the flow rate of the fluid by measuring the time difference between the downstream and counter-current propagation of the ultrasonic pulse in the fluid, and then obtains the flow rate. The liquid suitable for measurement usually has the following characteristics:
Clean fluid
Drinking water: the water quality is relatively pure, basically free of impurities, bubbles and fibers, will not cause too much interference to the ultrasonic signal, can make the ultrasonic wave spread smoothly, so that the time difference measurement is accurate, so as to accurately measure the flow of water, widely used in urban water supply systems, residential water meter metering and other scenarios.
Industrial pure water: such as high-purity water used in the electronics industry and pharmaceutical industry, its high purity, low conductivity, small absorption and scattering of ultrasonic waves, time-difference ultrasonic flowmeter can measure its flow with high precision, which helps to precise control and quality assurance in the production process.
Low-viscosity fluid
Gasoline, diesel and other light fuel oil: this kind of fuel viscosity is low, good mobility, ultrasonic propagation in which the energy attenuation is small, signal transmission is stable, can accurately measure its flow in the oil pipeline, widely used in gas stations, petrochemical enterprises oil measurement and transportation links.
Some low-viscosity chemical solvents: such as ethanol, acetone, etc., they are often used as solvents or raw materials in chemical production. Due to their low viscosity, they are suitable for time-difference ultrasonic flowmeters for flow measurement, which is convenient for material ratio and flow control in the production process.
Non-corrosive or weakly corrosive fluids
Seawater: although seawater contains a certain amount of salt, but the corrosion is relatively weak, in the use of appropriate anticorrosive materials to make flowmeter probes and pipelines, the time difference ultrasonic flowmeter can be used for seawater desalination plants, Marine monitoring and other fields of seawater flow measurement.
Some weak acid, weak alkali solutions: such as citric acid solution with lower concentration, sodium bicarbonate solution, etc., in the chemical industry, food and beverage and other industries, the flow measurement of these weak corrosive solutions can use the time-difference ultrasonic flowmeter, as long as the appropriate corrosion resistant material is selected, it can ensure the normal operation of the flowmeter and measurement accuracy.
A fluid with no bubbles or a few uniform bubbles
Beer and other beverages: in the beverage production process, although there may be a small amount of carbon dioxide gas bubbles formed in the beverage, but if the bubble distribution is uniform and the content is less, the impact on the ultrasonic propagation is less, the time difference ultrasonic flowmeter can be more accurate measurement of its flow, for the flow control and measurement of the beverage filling production line.
Circulating water containing a small amount of dissolved gas: In some industrial circulating water systems, the water may dissolve a small amount of air and other gases, but usually do not form a large number of gathered bubbles, the time difference ultrasonic flowmeter can effectively measure the flow of such circulating water, to achieve the monitoring and control of the circulating water system.
