Flow measurement meter or flow instrument can generally be used for the following fields .

First, Industrial Production Process

Flow meter is a major type of process automation instrument and device, it is widely applied to metallurgy, electric power plants, coal, chemical planrs, petroleum, transportation, construction, textile, food, medicine, agriculture, environmental protection and other fields, it is to develop industrial & agricultural production and energy-saving.The important tool to improve economic benefit and management level occupies an important position in national economy.

In the process automation instrument and device, flow meter has two main functions: as the process automation control system test instrument and measurement meter for the total amount of materials.

Second, Energy metering

Energy is divided into primary energy (coal, crude oil, coal bed methane, petroleum gas and natural gas), secondary energy (electricity, coke, artificial gas, refined oil, liquefied petroleum gas, steam) and energy-carrying working medium (compressed air, oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, water). Energy metering is an important means to manage energy scientifically, save energy and reduce consumption, and improve economic benefits. Flow meter is an important part of energy metering meter, water, artificial gas, natural gas, steam and oil these commonly used energy are using a very large number of flowmeters, they are the most important tools of energy management and economic accounting.

Three, environmental protection projects

The discharge of flue gas, waste liquid and sewage seriously pollutes the atmosphere and water resources, and seriously threatens the living environment of human beings. To control air and water pollution, management must be strengthened, and the basis of management is the quantitative control of pollution.

Our country takes coal as the main energy source, and have millions of chimneys discharge flue gas to the atmosphere constantly. Smoke emission control is an important item of pollution. Each chimney must be fitted with smoke analysis meters and flowmeters, comprising the tangentially connected emissions monitoring system. Flow rate of flue gas is attributable to the difficulty of Cioran, which is as follows: large chimney size and irregular shape, variable gas composition, large flow rate range, dirt, dust, corrosion, high temperature, no straight pipe section, etc.

The 21st century will usher in the century of life science, and the industry characterized by biotechnology will develop rapidly. There are many substances to be monitored and measured in biotechnology, such as blood, urine and so on. Instrument development is very difficult, variety.

Six, Scientific experiments

The flowmeter required for scientific experiments is not only large in number, but also extremely complex in variety. According to statistics, a large part of more than 100 kinds of flowmeters are needed for scientific research, they are not mass produced, sold in the market, many scientific research institutions and large enterprises are set up special teams to develop flowmeters.

Seven, Marine meteorology, rivers and lakes
