Whether the radar level gauge can be accurately measured depends on the data signal of the reflected surface wave. If at the selected installation location, the level may not return the radio wave reflector to the radar antenna or have a dry flex surface dry flex wave to the radar level meter within the range of the data signal wave, the radar level meter may not properly reflect the actual level meter. Therefore, the effective selection of the installation location is very critical to the radar level meter, and special attention should be paid to the following contents during installation:
(1) The center line of the wireless antenna of the radar level meter should be vertical with the reflective surface of the level meter.
(2) If the mixing valve of the tank body, the adhesion of the tank wall and the steps and other blocks are within the data signal range of the radar level meter, they will cause dry and distorted reflective surface waves, endangering the accurate measurement of the liquid level meter. During installation, the appropriate installation part should be selected to prevent the dry scratching of this element.
(3) The horn of the sound horn type radar level meter should exceed the necessary spacing (>10mm) of the inner surface of the mounting hole. The wireless antenna of the rod type liquid level gauge should lift the mounting hole, and the length of the mounting hole should not exceed 100mm. For round or elliptic vessels, it is necessary to install the part of the management center for 1/2R(R is the vessel half longitude) distance, can not be installed in the management center of the top of the round or elliptic vessel, otherwise the radar detection wave in the vessel wall after a few JGS of reflection surface, converge on the management center of the top of the vessel, produce strong dry deflection wave, will harm the accurate and accurate measurement.
(4) For the accurate measurement of the liquid level meter of the vessel with large fluctuation of the liquid level meter, the liquid level meter with the bypass valve tube can be used to reduce the harm of the fluctuation of the liquid level meter.
After the installation, you can use a PC to view the reflection surface wave trend chart to distinguish whether the installation of the level meter is appropriate, if not appropriate, then deepen the adjustment of the installation site until satisfactory.
For some installation parts can not prevent the dry torsion wave, the level meter can mark the dry torsion reflecting surface wave according to the actual level meter, coexist in the internal database query of the radar level meter, so that the radar level meter in the data processing method to identify this dry torsion wave, remove the harm of this dry torsion reflecting surface wave, to ensure the accuracy of accurate measurement.
4, radar level meter maintenance:
Radar level meter is mainly composed of electronic components and antennas, no moving parts, in the use of the fault is very few. The occasional problem in use is that some volatile organic compounds in the storage tank will crystallize on the flare or antenna of the radar level meter, and they can be checked and cleaned regularly, with little maintenance.
