Electromagnetic flow meters are widely used for measuring conductive liquids in water supply, wastewater treatment, chemical processing, mining, and other industrial applications. However, proper installation is essential to ensure reliable operation and accurate measurement.

Before selecting and installing the meter, users should confirm the pipe diameter, flow velocity, pressure, temperature, and medium characteristics. The MF8600 series supports a flow velocity range of 0.1 to 15 m/s and offers different pressure ratings depending on the pipe size.

Check Electrical Connections

Correct power and signal wiring are also essential. The MF8600 series supports 85–250VAC or 16–36VDC power supply, with communication options including 4–20mA, RS485 Modbus-RTU, pulse, HART, and other options.
