To ensure the accuracy of flow measurement for air conditioning water, clamp on ultrasonic flow meter should be installed at the part of uniform fluid flow .
Pls follow below points to select it .
1. The fluid in the measured pipe must be full of pipe .
2. The pipeline material to be tested should be uniform and dense, easy to be spread by ultrasonic wave, such as vertical pipe section (the fluid is from bottom to up) or horizontal pipe section (the lowest part of the whole pipeline is better);
3. Normally, the installation distance for straight pipe is asked to upstream 10D, downstream 5D. where D is pipe size, there is no straight pipe section with uniform valves, elbows, diameters, etc.
The measuring point should be far away from the interference sources such as valves, pumps, high voltage electricity and frequency converters.
4. The scaling situation in the pipe should be fully considered, and the pipe section without scaling should be selected as far as possible for measurement.
