Ultrasonic Flow Meters

20+ Years Manufacturing Experience

How can non invasive ultrasonic flowmeter be used in the biopharmaceutical field?

Non contact ultrasonic flow meters use ultrasonic technology to measure flow at key points in various biopharmaceutical processes. Ultrasonic technology enables non-contact flow detection and is suitable for different liquids (color, viscosity, turbidity, conductivity, temperature, etc.). Ultrasonic flow sensors/ultrasonic flowmeters are clamped to the outside of a flexible or rigid pipe and send ultrasonic signals through the pipe to directly measure the flow while calculating the total volume of liquid flowing through the sensor.
The sensor’s real-time flow measurement capabilities provide insight into key process parameters (CPP) of biopharmaceutical processes that are critical to optimizing consistency and reliability across batches. Because the process can be monitored non-invastively, there is no need to design in-line sensors, saving significant installation time.
