1. Slect the optimum location, ensure enough straight pipe length usually upstream >10D and downstream > 5D (where D is the inner diameter of the pipe.)
2. Avoid welding seam, bumps, rust, etc. Insulating layer must be stripped. Make sure the contact area is smooth and clean.
3. For TF1100 serial ultrasound flow transmitter sensors, far away from electromagnetic interfering and pipeline vibration. Keep away from frequency conversion and ultrasonic radiant.
4. The clamp-on flow transducers must be installed at the side of pipe not the top.
