But care must be taken to prevent pitting.

2, there is enough coupling agent between the sensor working face and the pipe wall, and there can be no air and solid particles to ensure good coupling.

3, in addition, before the flow data collection of a pipeline, it is necessary to measure the outer circumference of the pipeline (with a tape measure), wall thickness (with a thickness meter), and the temperature of the outer wall of the pipeline (surface temperature meter).

4. Remove the insulation layer and protective layer in the installation section, and polish the wall surface of the transducer according to the installation place. Avoid local depression, convex objects smooth, paint rust layer grinding.

5. For vertically set pipes, if it is a mono propagation time instrument, the installation position of the sensor should be as far as possible in the bending axis plane of the upstream bend pipe, so as to obtain the average value of the bending pipe flow field after distortion.

6, the sensor installation of the ultrasonic flowmeter and the tube wall reflection must avoid the interface and weld.

7, the measurement pipe is relatively old mining, try not to use 2 acoustic layer (V method) to install the sensor, should choose 1 acoustic layer (Z method), such an installation method, the ultrasonic flow sensor of the ultrasonic flow meter, it is easy to be received by the flow sensor of the measurement, and the signal strength of the ultrasonic flow meter host is guaranteed, and can ensure high measurement values.

8, in the measurement of new pipelines, when there is paint or zinc pipe, you can use roving to treat the surface of the pipeline first, and then use yarn to continue processing, so as to ensure that the ultrasonic flow sensor installation point is smooth and smooth, the flow probe of the ultrasonic flow meter can be well in contact with the measured pipe wall.

9, when the pipeline is vertical upward direction, if the fluid in the pipeline is from the bottom to the flow, can be measured, if the liquid is a top-down flow, this pipeline is not suitable for flow data collection.
