1. Working Principle
Radar flow meter is a non-contact flow measurement device based on FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) or pulse radar technology. It transmits high-frequency radar waves towards the liquid surface, receives the reflected echo, and calculates the liquid level, flow velocity, and flow rate by analyzing the frequency difference or time delay.
It is mainly used for open channels, rivers, irrigation canals, stormwater drains and partially filled pipes.
