Radar open channel flowmeter

Radar open channel flowmeter is a non-contact flow measurement equipment, consisting of radar current meter and radar water level meter, using non-contact measurement, not easy to be corroded by sewage, not affected by sediment, can be used in complex water environment with pollutants or sediments. The radar antenna has good directivity, small beam Angle, concentrated ability and stronger anti-interference, which greatly improves the measurement accuracy and reliability.
Radar open-channel flowmeter is made by the principle of Doppler effect, electromagnetic waves will be generated to the water surface when working, and the electromagnetic waves will be scattered when they meet the moving water surface, and form echoes. Because the received echo frequency is offset to a certain extent compared with the transmission frequency, the water surface velocity can be obtained by Doppler frequency equation, and a moving target will generate a low-frequency output signal in the radar sensor. The frequency of this signal depends on the moving speed, and the amplitude depends on the distance, reflectivity, and size of the moving target. The Doppler shift is proportional to the speed of motion. The system of fixed point radar flowmeter can access multiple radar probes, which is equivalent to laying multiple measurement vertical lines, and calculating section flow combined with section parameters.
