When installing the ultrasonic level meter, the following matters should be noted:
The transmitting surface of the probe should be kept parallel to the liquid level to ensure measurement accuracy. If the mounting surfaces are uneven, such as pool or tank walls, keep the probe at least 0.3 m (30 cm) away from these surfaces.
Ensure that the distance from the probe launching surface to the lowest level is less than the range of the selected ultrasonic level meter, and that the distance to the highest level should be greater than its blind zone to avoid false readings.
The probe installation position should avoid directly below the inlet and outlet that may cause liquid level fluctuations.
In the process of use, the ultrasonic level meter should be avoided by strong vibration and impact to protect its measurement accuracy and service life.
For corrosive liquids, an ultrasonic level meter with anti-corrosion properties should be selected, and its anti-corrosion properties should be checked regularly.
During installation and commissioning, the instructions and operating specifications provided by the manufacturer should be followed.
Keep the measurement environment clean and dry to avoid the impact of dust and moisture on the measurement accuracy, and carry out calibration and maintenance regularly according to the actual situation.
