What are the four parameters of industry ? How do you measure it ?

The four industrial parameters are temperature, pressure, flow rate and liquid level.

1. Temperature

Temperature is a physical value that represents the degree of cold and heat of the measured object. According to the measurement method of temperature instrument, it can be divided into contact type and non-contact type.  Contact meter for measuring temperature mainly includes thermometer, thermal resistance and thermocouple.  Non-contact temperature measurement instrumenet is mainly optical pyrometer, photoelectric pyrometer, radiation pyrometer and infrared thermometer.

2. Pressure

The pressure received on any object includes the atmospheric pressure and the pressure of the measured medium (generally the gauge pressure) two parts, the sum of the two parts of the pressure on the measured object is called the absolute pressure, and the ordinary industrial pressure gauge is measured by the gauge value, that is, P table =P absolute – atmospheric pressure.

Pressure measuring instruments can be divided into three categories: according to gravity and the measured pressure balance method, directly measure the size of the force on the unit area, such as liquid column pressure gauge and piston pressure gauge;  According to the method of elastic force and measured pressure balance, measure the elastic force generated by the deformation of elastic element after compression, such as spring pressure gauge, bellows pressure gauge, diaphragm pressure gauge and diaphragm box pressure gauge;  Make use of the physical properties of some substances related to pressure, such as voltage or resistance or capacitance changes when pressed;  For example, pressure sensors.

3. Flow

In industrial production and control, fluid flow parameter detection and control is one of the most common parameters.  There are many kinds of meters used to measure flow, including ultrasonic flowmeter, electromagnetic flowmeter, throttling flowmeter and volumetric flowmeter.

4. Level

Liquid level refers to the level of liquid level in a sealed container or an open container.  Commonly used instruments for measuring liquid level are ultrasonic level meter, glass level meter, differential pressure level meter, floating ball level meter, buoy level meter, floating ball magnetic flip plate level meter, radar level meter, radioactive level meter, radio frequency admittance level meter, etc.
