The liminations as below .
1. Portable ultrasonic liquid flowmeter ( Transit-Time ) can only be used for clean liquids like water, beer, chilled water, sea water, etc ;
2. Clamp on transducers cannot measure the pipes of thick liner or scarling, concavo-convex and corrosion pipes ;
3. Portable clean water flow meter can’t measure less than below 20mm diameter pipe at present ;
In a word, there is no doubt that flow measurement is an important parameter in liquid flow measurement, especially in water conservation, environmental protection industries, drinking factories, chemical industries and so on . Portable ultrasonic flowmeter has the characteristics of quick installation and flexible use, but the accurate method must be mastered when using. Many factors affects the big error for flow measurement, such as on-site condition, pipe wall, scaling on the inner wall of the pipe, and enrolling bubbles in the pipe, etc .
