Why does the electromagnetic flow meter show fluctuating readings?

Fluctuating flow values are the most common issue reported by users. Normally, this problem is not caused by product failure but by field working conditions. First, if the liquid contains air bubbles, suspended solids or unstable water pressure, the flow signal will keep jumping. Second, poor grounding or nearby frequency converters and high-power equipment will cause electromagnetic interference and lead to data instability.
You can solve this easily: ensure the pipe is fully filled with liquid, avoid air entering the pipeline, check and re-do the sensor grounding, and increase the damping time slightly in the meter settings. After simple adjustment, the flow data will become smooth and stable.
