Ultrasonic Flow Meters

20+ Years Manufacturing Experience

Application of TF1100-CC Clip-on Small Pipe Ultrasonic Flowmeter

1. Introduction

TF1100-CC Clip-on Ultrasonic Flowmeter is an integrated clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter developed by Lanry Instruments, specially designed for DN12~DN125 small pipelines. It adopts transit-time technology, with all-in-one external installation that requires no pipe cutting or production shutdown. It supports multi-signal output, 10-year data storage and optional thermal energy measurement, delivering stable flow monitoring for small-bore liquid pipelines.

Without split transducers or internal moving parts, it features easy installation, low maintenance and long-term stable performance for industrial flow statistics and energy monitoring.

2. Core Application Advantages

  • Non-invasive clamp mounting: No medium contact, no leakage or contamination risks
  • Compact design for ultra-small pipes DN12–DN125, fills the gap of tiny pipeline measurement
  • 4-20mA, OCT, Relay, RS485 Modbus outputs for industrial control system connection
  • Optional heat measurement function for heating & cooling circulation pipes
  • 10-year day/month/year data storage for energy audit and production traceability
  • Wide working range: liquid temperature -10°C~50°C, flow velocity 0.1~5.0m/s, IP65 protection

3. Main Industry Applications

3.1 HVAC & Heating

Used for central air-condition chilled water branches, floor heating supply/return pipes and lab cooling circuits. On-site strengths: Install without stopping cooling/heating; integrated heat measurement simplifies energy billing; historical data supports monthly energy consumption settlement.

3.2 Water & Pure Water Treatment

Suitable for deionized water, pharmaceutical ultra-pure water and reclaimed water sampling pipelines. On-site strengths: No pipeline damage, zero risk of pure water pollution; non-fouling design avoids frequent cleaning.

3.3 Food & Beverage

Applied to beverage conveying, edible liquid circulation and equipment cleaning water pipes. On-site strengths: Non-contact measurement prevents raw material cross-contamination; cumulative flow records support batch cost accounting.

3.4 Fine Chemicals

For low-viscosity solvent, alcohol and lab reagent small pipelines. On-site strengths: No pipe opening eliminates liquid leakage hazards; signal outputs link with automatic feeding control systems.

3.5 Machinery & Power Equipment

Machine tool cooling circuits and power plant auxiliary heat dissipation pipes. On-site strengths: Low-flow detection and relay alarm protect equipment from overheating; compact size fits narrow installation spaces.

3.6 Environmental & Energy Management

Factory branch pipe energy statistics and wastewater sampling pipelines. On-site strengths: Long-term data storage for energy-saving audits; Modbus uploads data to central monitoring platforms.
