Electromagnetic flow meters support both horizontal and vertical installation. For vertical installation, the liquid flow direction must be upward. Upward flow ensures the pipeline is always fully filled and avoids empty pipe errors. Downward vertical installation is not recommended, as it may cause incomplete pipe filling and unstable readings. As long as the full-pipe condition is guaranteed, vertical installation works stably with no accuracy loss.
