Our standard electromagnetic flowmeter requires the conductivity of the measured medium to reach at least 5μS/cm to generate stable induced voltage signals for accurate flow calculation.
We also provide a special low-conductivity customized model for weak conductive media, which can normally work with liquid conductivity as low as 0.2μS/cm, covering demineralized water, slightly conductive chemical solutions and similar working conditions.
However, this meter relies on conductive fluid to cut magnetic lines of flux. Completely non-conductive substances such as pure distilled water, mineral oil, fuel oil and all kinds of gas cannot form effective measuring signals, so they are not applicable to electromagnetic flow measurement.
