What is Ultrasonic flowmeter ?

Utrasonic flow meter is a fluid flow measurement instruments by ultrasound technology to work out the volume flow. For this meter,It has a highlighted advantage that it does not directly contact the fluids. Additionally,there are two ways by Transit time and Doppler shfit.Transit time Ultrasonic Flowmeters are mainly used for clean liquids,such as water,sea water,milk,HVAC,chilled water,beverge,alocohol,a little dirty fluid,chemical industry and others.Doppler water Flowmeters are used for very dirty liquids,such as sewage,wastewater,sludge,slurry and drainage and others.Our Doppler flowmeter available in DF6100 full filled pipe ultrasonic flowmeter and DOF6000 open channel fow meter & not full pipe flowmeter.

Take two applications as example.

1. Wastwater application

The ultrasonic flowmeter is very convenient to treat the fluid with the sediment, and there are many sediment in the sewage, so it is very easy to treat the sewage with the ultrasonic wave.There are many common problems in sewage treatment.Since the ultrasonic flowmeter does not need to contact the measured object in the pipe, only the ultrasonic wave needs to flow in the fluid to get the sewage information through feedback.It can be said that the ultrasonic flowmeter is very practical for sewage treatment.In this way, the ultrasonic flow meter can be actually used to clean a variety of pollutants, can be used as a kind of national environmental protection cleaning work, everyone can use.

2. Measure the flow rate of the ditches

Ultrasonic flowmeters are also commonly used for agricultural irrigation.Traditional agricultural irrigation requires trench digging.The principle of measuring channel flow is: the higher the liquid level; the lower the flow rate, the lower the liquid level.The flow rate can be calculated by measuring the water level.The corresponding relationship between flow and water level is affected by the channel ratio and surface roughness.The installation of a measuring weir trough in the channel has a throttle effect, so that the flow rate in the open channel has a fixed correspondence with the liquid level.This correspondence depends mainly on the structural size of the measuring weir trough to minimize the influence of the channel.
